Display advertising

We run display ads through Google AdSense. After we qualify by traffic, we plan to migrate to Mediavine. We do not pick which specific ads you see, but we do filter categories we consider harmful or misleading, and we remove a specific ad if a reader flags it.

Affiliate links

Some links to suppliers (Amazon Associates, Sawgrass, Heat Press Nation, and similar) may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" in the HTML and flagged in text when they appear in a recommendation.

Editorial independence

Ads and affiliate commissions do not influence what we rank, what products we compare, or what we recommend. Our content-review process is documented on our editorial policy page.

Products we have tried

When we recommend a specific product, we say clearly whether we have used it ourselves. If we have not, we describe it as a “commonly used” option and cite where we learned about it.

How we make money

Most of the site’s revenue is display advertising. Affiliate commissions are secondary. We do not sell reader data. We do not take paid placement in rankings.
